Born into a family of musicians, Matthew began playing drum set at an early age. A percussionist with over twenty years of experience, Matt has been fortunate to study with first-rate drummers Mikel Patrick Avery, Ryan Korb, and G. Maxwell Zemanovic. Matt has played with a variety of bands, most notably rock groups "After Hour Animals", "Bourbon House", and Nashville based singer/songwriter Danny Mitchell. Today, Matthew forges a path as a professional drummer and educator. He operates a private teaching studio, offering drum set and percussion lessons to students of all ages. Matthew also spends time working as a composer, producer, and DJ.
